Emmanuel Nadingar urges honest dialogue for peace in Chad

Emmanuel Nadingar, President of the Universal Peace Federation’s Chad chapter, held a press briefing on May 23 at the organisation’s headquarters in Sabangali, N’Djaména’s 3rd arrondissement.

During the event, the former Prime Minister of Chad addressed pressing global and domestic issues, emphasizing the urgent need for peace and stability. He highlighted how violent conflicts over resources worldwide are driving communities to tighten their bonds and reinforce divisions.

Turning to Chad’s internal situation, Nadingar acknowledged that «significant developments have unfolded,» though he refrained from elaborating further. He stressed that overcoming the country’s challenges requires unity, not division.

To foster national cohesion, he urged all Chadians to reject communalism, isolationism, and acts of violence, calling instead for a culture of active listening and sincere dialogue. «Only by standing together,» he asserted, «can we build the strength to face the obstacles before us.»

The Universal Peace Federation, an international non-governmental organisation founded in 2005, operates in over 190 countries, advocating for peace and ethical leadership.
