The Malian government has unveiled a sweeping financial incentive, offering between 500 million and 2 billion FCFA for credible information leading to the capture or elimination of seven high-profile suspects accused of terrorism-related activities.
This decisive move was announced through an official statement signed by General Daoud Aly Mohammedine, Minister of Security and Civil Protection. The initiative underscores the authorities’ intensified commitment to combating terrorism and safeguarding national security.
The wanted individuals are believed to have played key roles in planning, orchestrating, or carrying out attacks that have endangered civilians and disrupted stability across Mali.
The list includes seven notorious figures:
- Iyad Ag Ghali (alias Abou Al-Fadel),
- Hamadoun Hassan Sangaré (also known as Amadou Kouffa or Môbbô),
- Abdoulaye Mamadou Bakaye Diallo (alias Jouleybib de Nampala or Sidi),
- Alghabass Ag Intalla,
- Sedan Ag Hita (using aliases like Outhman Al Ansari, Abdel Hakim Al Kidali, and Al Qayrawani),
- Bilal Ag Acherif, and
- Abderrahmane Al-Batna Al-Jazairi.
According to the official communiqué, these individuals remain the focus of active manhunts by specialized security units due to their suspected involvement in recent terrorist operations across the country.
In parallel, authorities have called on the public to increase vigilance and support law enforcement efforts. Citizens with actionable intelligence are urged to come forward and share any details that could aid in locating or apprehending these fugitives.
This announcement arrives amid ongoing counterterrorism operations targeting armed groups across multiple regions in Mali.
