In a dignified ceremony held on May 19, Amador Sanchez Rico, the freshly appointed European Union ambassador, formally submitted his credentials to President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno.

Among the notable attendees was Fatimé Aldjineh Garfa, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, responsible for African Integration and Chadians Abroad. Ambassador Sanchez Rico was joined by Sona Jarosova, who leads the political section, and Karl Rawert, the head of cooperation for the European Union delegation in Chad.
