The Tchad government and the United Nations system jointly concluded the 2024-2026 United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) cycle in N’Djamena on May 22, marking both an assessment of progress and the launch of preparatory work for the 2027-2030 framework.
The session, co-chaired by Tahir Hamid Nguilin, Tchad‘s Minister of State for Finance, Budget, Economy, Planning, and International Cooperation, brought together government officials, UN agency representatives, technical and financial partners, civil society actors, and private sector stakeholders.
Dr. François Batalingaya, the UN Resident Coordinator in Tchad, attended the high-level meeting, which served as a platform to review achievements and set the foundation for the next cooperation cycle. Nguilin emphasized the strength of the partnership between Tchad and the UN, highlighting its strategic importance in advancing national priorities.
