According to the embassy’s latest security notice, Malian authorities have intensified patrols, established additional checkpoints, and may temporarily close certain roads to bolster safety. These precautions coincide with the upcoming religious holidays, including Aïd al-Adha, scheduled for May 27, prompting officials to advise against non-essential travel until the end of the month.
