During a high-level meeting in N’Djamena, Chad’s Prime Minister, Mr. Allamaye Halina, warmly received Mr. Abdelkader Djellaoui, Algeria’s Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure. The encounter centered on Algeria’s pivotal role in fostering bilateral ties and its influential stance across Africa, according to an official statement from the Chadian government.
The Chadian Prime Minister extended his appreciation for Algeria’s leadership under President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, highlighting the sustained efforts to bolster cooperation and integration between the two neighboring nations. He emphasized Chad’s deep respect for Algeria’s commitment to African solidarity and development, underscoring the historical and fraternal bonds shared by both peoples.
In a gesture of solidarity, Mr. Halina conveyed the personal greetings of Chad’s President, Mr. Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, to President Tebboune. This exchange reflected the long-standing friendship and mutual support that define the relationship between Algeria and Chad.
The Chadian Prime Minister also extended fraternal greetings to Algeria’s Prime Minister, Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, reaffirming Chad’s eagerness to expand and strengthen bilateral partnerships with Algeria. The meeting concluded with discussions on advancing collaborative projects in key sectors.
The Algerian delegation, present during the two-day working visit by Mr. Djellaoui, included senior officials such as the Director-General of the Algerian Agency for International Cooperation and Development, Mr. Abed Hallouz, Algeria’s Ambassador to Chad, and representatives from both countries’ ministries of public works. The delegation also featured the CEOs of Cosider Travaux Publics and the National Public Works Enterprise (Entp), as noted in the official communiqué.
