The Journées ouvertes pour l’utilisation de la recherche et de l’innovation en éducation (JOURIE 2026), a landmark event focused on reshaping Côte d’Ivoire’s education system, kicked off on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the prestigious École nationale supérieure de statistique et d’économie appliquée d’Abidjan (ENSEA). Organized by the Ministry of National Education, Literacy, and Technical Training (MENAET), the two-day forum centers around the theme: « Transforming education through digital innovation: sustainable solutions for a high-quality school system ».

Running until Wednesday, July 22, 2026, JOURIE 2026 brings together researchers, educators, policymakers, innovators, and development partners to explore how digital tools and scientific research can enhance learning outcomes across Côte d’Ivoire. Dr. Inza Meité, Director of Studies, Strategy, Planning, and Statistics (DESPS), emphasized the pivotal role of JOURIE 2026 in fostering a culture of innovation and research within the education sector.
