Senegal doune pathe mbengue takes over as Dakar port director

Dakar, July 15, 2026 — The leadership landscape at Senegal’s key state-owned enterprises has shifted once again. A presidential decree issued today appoints Doune Pathé Mbengue, a seasoned civil administrator, as the new Director General of the Dakar Autonomous Port (PAD). He steps into this critical role, succeeding Waly Diouf Bodiang, whose tenure as inspector of the port has concluded.
