Following an initial round of dismissals targeting directors-general aligned with Ousmane Sonko, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has carried out a second wave of removals this Wednesday.

Among the most prominent removals is that of Waly Diouf Bodiang, who served as director-general of the autonomous Port of Dakar. The position has now been filled by Doune Pathé Mbengue, a former activist from the Apr movement.
Babo Amadou Ba, national coordinator of Pastef’s cadre division (Moncap) and director-general of the Vocational and Technical Training Financing Fund (3FPT), has also been relieved of his duties. He is succeeded by Soulèye Kane.
In Touba, Lamine Barra Lô, a Pastef representative and director-general of the National Vocational Training Office (ONFP), has been replaced by Mame Awa Ndoye.

Karamba Diallo takes over as director-general of SEN-Pharmacie, the national supply pharmacy, following the departure of Seydou Diallo, a Sonko supporter and Pastef leader in Keur Massar.
