Forest and Water Agency Introduces New Dress Code
In a move aimed at promoting professionalism, the Tchadian Ministry of Environment, Fisheries and Sustainable Development has banned military attire from its staff.
The ban applies to all employees in the Forests and Waters Agency (ADEA), including those working in forest conservation, wildlife management and other related sectors.
- Agents found violating the new dress code will face disciplinary action
- The agency’s central and regional offices are responsible for enforcing the policy
Reason Behind the Ban
The move is seen as part of efforts to curb the influence of military culture within government agencies.
According to the ministry, some staff members were wearing equipment and uniforms associated with the Tchadian Armed Forces (FAT).
