Torino-Juve match postponed after violent supporter clashes leave one fan in critical condition

The highly anticipated Torino-Juve derby in Serie A’s final matchday was delayed from its scheduled 20:45 kickoff after violent clashes between rival supporters left one fan in critical condition.
The final game of the Serie A season between Torino and Juventus took an unexpected turn when unrest erupted among spectators outside the stadium. Emergency services rushed a Juventus supporter to hospital with life-threatening injuries, prompting authorities to postpone the match as a precautionary measure.
Initially set for 20:45, the fixture was eventually rescheduled for 21:45 after security forces managed to restore order. The incident has overshadowed what was meant to be a decisive clash, as Juventus’ potential win could have secured their place in next season’s Champions League.
Juventus president and CEO Damien Comolli revealed in an interview that Torino fans in the stands urged team captain Manuel Locatelli to refuse playing, citing the gravity of the situation. Serie A had scheduled this match simultaneously with other games in Milan, Como, and Rome, all featuring teams competing for the final two Champions League spots.
