Responding to the recent public statements by Pastef’s leader concerning President Bassirou Diomaye Faye, Ass Abdourahmane Diouf delivered an unreserved condemnation of Ousmane Sonko.
“Oh, Senegal! This is the consequence when a legislator, ascending to the National Assembly’s rostrum, lacks a true understanding of parliamentary procedures and then faces the demands of that office. The intricacies of governance elude him; the very morality he preaches ultimately stifles him, as he proves incapable of embodying its principles. Meanwhile, the rigor of analytical thought vanishes, overshadowed by a concerning intellectual void.
In such circumstances, truth gives way to blatant manipulation, cultivating the illusion of a revolution utterly devoid of genuine direction or consistent leadership,” Ass Abdourahmane Diouf asserted.
He concluded by reiterating his unwavering commitment to the nation’s institutions: “The Republic! Nothing less than the Republic!”
