During a high-level meeting in Rabat, Francisca Tatchouop Belobe, the African Union (AU) Commissioner for Economic Development, Trade, Industry, Tourism, and Minerals, emphasized the significant developmental milestones achieved by Morocco. She specifically pointed out that Morocco has secured a prominent position on the continent within the automotive and aerospace industries.
Strengthening continental cooperation
The AU official also commended Morocco for its commitment to South-South cooperation, noting the Kingdom‘s willingness to share its technical expertise and successful models with other African nations. A key example of this progress is the establishment of a robust value chain centered on critical minerals, which serves as a benchmark for regional development.
In her concluding remarks, Tatchouop Belobe extended her gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for his consistent and firm support of the African Union Commission’s initiatives.
