After three and a half seasons of dazzling performances at Arsenal, Belgian international winger Leandro Trossard has finalized his transfer to Turkish giants Besiktas, marking a new chapter in his career.
The 31-year-old attacker, who played 174 matches for the Gunners and contributed 36 goals along with 34 assists, has been granted permission by Arsenal to travel to Istanbul for a medical examination and complete the necessary administrative procedures for his transfer. Arsenal confirmed in an official statement that “an agreement has been reached regarding the transfer fee” with Besiktas.
Besiktas wasted no time in welcoming their new signing, sharing a photo on social media of Trossard in his new black-and-white jersey alongside club president Serdal Adali. The Belgian star has also made a significant impact on the international stage, helping Belgium reach the World Cup quarterfinals and scoring twice in the tournament.
