VfB Stuttgart has secured the future of Bilal El Khannouss after activating his permanent transfer from Leicester City. The 22-year-old Moroccan attacking midfielder, who impressed during his loan spell, has inked a long-term agreement with the Bundesliga club.
In his debut season in Germany, El Khannouss featured in 41 matches across all competitions, delivering nine goals and seven assists. His consistent performances earned him a spot in Morocco’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where the Atlas Lions will face Brazil in their opening match on June 14.
El Khannouss’s journey includes stints at Anderlecht and Genk before his breakthrough at Leicester. His trophy cabinet already boasts an Africa Cup of Nations title, an U23 continental championship, and an Olympic bronze medal, positioning him as a rising star in African football.
