The President of the Republic, Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, arrived back in N’Djamena late yesterday evening after completing an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.

During his stay, the Head of State engaged in two key meetings with the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, while the second occurred at the Marshal’s official residence.

Upon landing at N’Djamena International Airport, President Déby was greeted by Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, multiple government officials, the Minister of State and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Special Chief of Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Special Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
