Mali military strikes claim over 100 jihadist deaths in northern regions

The Malian Armed Forces (FAMA) have reported neutralizing over a hundred armed fighters in coordinated military operations conducted on Tuesday in the northern regions of Anfif and Tabrachat.

In an official statement, the army confirmed that the strikes targeted members of the Group for the Support of Islam and Muslims (JNIM) and the Azawad Liberation Front (FLA). The operations included 13 precision airstrikes that successfully destroyed six armored vehicles and a pickup truck, further disrupting insurgent logistics.

The Malian military emphasized that these operations are part of an ongoing national campaign against armed groups across multiple regions. Forces remain committed to pursuing these missions with unyielding determination and strict coordination alongside allied partners.

A parallel statement from the African Corps highlighted the destruction of numerous militant vehicles, while also noting the successful engagement of one of its drones targeting a vehicle transporting munitions and military supplies.

The Russian Africa Corps reinforced this narrative, describing the joint efforts as highly effective and reaffirming its commitment to continuing strikes against militant positions and equipment within the region.
