RHDP Mankono revitalizes grassroots structures for future political success

The departmental secretariat of the Rally of Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) for Mankono commune and sub-prefecture recently convened its political re-entry sessions on July 17 and 18, 2026. These crucial gatherings focused on reviewing the outcomes of the 2025 elections, providing essential training for party militants, and actively revitalizing the party’s foundational structures across the region.

Cissé Namory, the RHDP departmental secretary, whose political mandate extends across both the Mankono commune and its sub-prefecture, emphatically reiterated the steadfast commitment of militants within the Béré region to diligently work towards fortifying the ruling presidential party.

Namory celebrated the significant victory of the RHDP in the recent legislative elections within his political department, where Deputy Salimata Fofana épouse Méité secured a decisive win. However, he also expressed deep concern over instances of indiscipline among certain party members, suggesting that such conduct occasionally received backing from some party executives.

“We bear a responsibility of sincerity towards our militants to safeguard the cohesion and effectiveness of our political endeavors,” he declared, urging for enhanced discipline and unwavering unity throughout the RHDP ranks.

The political re-entry event was structured around two pivotal highlights. The initial day featured an intensive reflection seminar, thoughtfully themed: “Learning from the recent electoral process and charting the course for a new militant cycle.”

During this significant occasion, Professor Soro David, the Deputy National Secretary responsible for the RHDP’s political structures, delivered a compelling conference titled “The National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030’s Impact on the Béré Region’s Progress.”

The esteemed speaker highlighted the substantial achievements realized across Béré through the PND 2021-2025, subsequently outlining the promising opportunities presented by the upcoming PND 2026-2030. “The Béré region significantly prospered under the PND 2021-2025 and stands to gain even more from the PND 2026-2030,” he asserted, detailing numerous planned initiatives spanning education, healthcare, and vital infrastructure.

Professor Soro additionally commended the unwavering dedication of regional executives and prominent figures from Béré, who stand firmly alongside President Alassane Ouattara. He emphasized that their active involvement serves as a crucial catalyst for advancing Béré’s development and strengthening governmental initiatives throughout this vital part of Côte d’Ivoire.
