The Order of Civil Engineers of Burkina Faso (OIGC-BF) recently convened a press briefing in Ouagadougou to address a pressing national concern: the growing threat of substandard construction projects undermining public safety, economic stability, and Burkina Faso’s infrastructure sovereignty.

He emphasized that behind every road, bridge, and building in Burkina Faso lies a critical responsibility—one that civil engineers must uphold with integrity and professionalism.
