The President of Chad, Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, arrived back in N’Djamena late yesterday evening after wrapping up an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.

During his trip, the Chadian leader held two key meetings with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, while the second was hosted at the Marshal’s official residence.

Upon landing in N’Djamena, the Head of State was greeted by a high-profile delegation including Prime Minister Ambassador Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, multiple cabinet ministers, the State Minister and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Chief of Military Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Private Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
