A business lawyer and tax expert, attorney, and consultant in governance, CSR, and ethics, this discreet Ivorian has spent thirty years helping to lay, brick by brick, the foundations of West Africa’s business framework.
It all began in the late 1990s, when this doctor of business and economic law caught his minister’s attention with a stark warning: the texts governing commercial companies were dangerously outdated, dating back to 1867 and 1925, relics of the colonial era. From this observation, a national initiative was born that soon became regional: the reform of OHADA.
