Dembélé clears fitness test before PSG-Arsenal Champions League final
Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembélé, recovering from a right calf strain sustained during PSG’s 1-2 Ligue 1 defeat at Paris FC on May 17, completed a solo running session at the Puskas Arena in Budapest.
In a press conference Friday afternoon, Dembélé addressed concerns directly. «I never feared missing this final,» he stated. «I’ve had ten to fifteen days to prepare. The staff managed the season perfectly. I’m at 100%, the team is ready, and we’ve approached this match calmly. We hope everything goes well.»
Minutes later, the French winger took to the training pitch at the Puskas Arena for a self-directed fitness test. While teammates worked on shooting drills, Dembélé completed several sprints without any visible setbacks, seamlessly rejoining the session afterward.
