Morocco seeks 26 billion dollars for atlantic gas pipeline project

Morocco is stepping up efforts to secure the substantial funding required for the Atlantic African Gas Pipeline (AAGP), a landmark cross-border energy initiative co-developed with Nigeria. The North African kingdom is actively pursuing a $26 billion financing package by approaching key international financial institutions, including the U.S. Export-Import Bank (US Exim Bank) and the World Bank, according to Moroccan Ambassador to the United States, Youssef Amrani.
