Lyon’s Match Against Auxerre Fixed by Champions League Qualification Results

The only match not officially scheduled is between Olympique Lyonnais and AJ Auxerre.

According to the LFP, the match will be fixed definitively on Wednesday, August 12, depending on the result of the UEFA Champions League qualification third round for Olympique Lyonnais.

In concrete terms, if Olympique Lyonnais qualifies for the play-offs of the UEFA Champions League, the match between Olympique Lyonnais and AJ Auxerre will take place on Friday, September 4 at 19h00.

If Olympique Lyonnais is eliminated in the third round of qualification for Ligue des Champions, the match will be held on Saturday, September 5 at 20h45.

Regardless of the outcome, the fixture will be broadcast on Ligue 1+. As a reminder, OL had requested to postpone their first Ligue 1 match to better prepare for an upcoming Champions League playoff scheduled in late August. This request was rejected by the LFP.
