The High Authority for Party Regulation (HARP) of Pastef-Les Patriotes has released the provisional list of candidates for the party presidency election ahead of the upcoming congress. According to the decision from the body overseeing the internal electoral process, Ousmane Sonko remains the only candidate whose bid has been deemed valid at this stage.

The HARP’s ruling confirms that no other applications have met the necessary criteria for validation at this point. The upcoming Pastef-Les Patriotes congress, scheduled for the coming weeks, will play a crucial role in determining the party’s future leadership.
