Maurice Kamto is not the only person capable of leading the Movement for the Rebirth of Cameroon, according to Pierre Emmanuel Binyam on the programme “Entretien avec …”

However, the current president of the Clarification and Restoration Commission stressed that given the MRC’s current circumstances, Maurice Kamto remains the right person to guide the party.

“It is not only Maurice Kamto who can manage the MRC, but as things stand, we need Maurice Kamto,” Binyam declared on STV’s “Entretien avec …”.

The interview also gave Binyam a chance to address questions about challenges to Kamto’s return as head of the Movement for the Rebirth of Cameroon.

“Regarding disputes over Maurice Kamto’s return, I have clearly told you they do not exist. No party body has opened a debate on his return. On the contrary, motions have been signed urgently requesting his return,” Binyam insisted.
