According to the Universal Mediator and leader of the Independent Commission Against Corruption and Discrimination (COMICODI), the nation of Cameroun must transcend all individual interests, tribal affiliations, and personal friendships to ensure its eternal stability.
AN EXISTENTIAL CHALLENGE FOR THE NATION, THE STATE, AND THE REPUBLIC
There is no such thing as an untouchable citizen in our society. Any future government restructuring must be preceded by a significant cleanup of the political arena, as the current level of dysfunction and public expectation demands a profound transformation.
The fundamental question we must now address is whether we are satisfied with a mere surface-level fix involving the same toxic individuals promoted by harmful influence networks, or if we truly desire strong, functional institutions led by people of integrity, patriotism, and loyalty.
It is likely that no other head of state has ever dealt with a situation as intricate and hazardous to the national destiny as Paul Biya currently faces. Although he assumed power with a wealth of positive intentions, the President, despite his long tenure, cannot be held solely responsible for every ailment currently affecting Cameroun.
In fact, he has exhibited an incredible level of endurance, listening, and patience regarding the blatant betrayals and misconduct of some of his closest associates over more than forty years of leadership. This issue goes far beyond the simple management of public funds; it encompasses the very fabric of our governance.
To assume that resolving these issues is a simple matter of swapping players or making sudden moves is to misunderstand the complexities of Cameroun and its elite class. It is becoming increasingly clear that a strategy of long-term patience and even personal sacrifice has become the hallmark of the President’s approach.
Time will eventually reveal the path forward and identify those capable of meeting the urgent demands of our future. Consider the scale of the cleanup required. Is it acceptable for a newly appointed board chair to immediately demand over a hundred million to renovate a private residence? The situation is critical, and the President is carefully weighing his options.
How can one navigate this nest of vipers without causing total collapse? The passage of time has already exposed the traitors among us. No one will be protected by toxic networks or influence peddling. We must allow the President the space to process these disappointments and find a new momentum, for the fate of future generations hangs in the balance.
In this mission, there are no villages, no tribes, and no friends. There is only the eternal interest of Cameroun. To claim that we are out of time is a reckless and shallow perspective. A nation’s destiny is built on sustained patience and sacrifices that may seem impossible to some. This is an existential equation for the State and the Republic. The final outcome will reveal the truth.
