During her press conference, the general supervisor of the Diomaye Président coalition addressed the dismissal of former Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko.
According to Aminata Touré, Sonko’s tenure as head of government ended in failure, leading to his removal. “You appointed a Prime Minister to handle important files, but you were unable to deliver results, so we let you go,” she said with irony.
