From 29 June to 1 July 2026, Gabon will host a high-level international mission tasked with assessing the country’s progress in combating corruption and illicit asset recovery. The evaluation, part of the second review cycle of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), will bring together experts from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), as well as representatives from Chad and Libya.
