Following President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema’s State of the Nation address, Pierre-Claver Maganga Moussavou, leader of the Social Democratic Party (PSD), shared his perspective in a candid interview. Maganga Moussavou commended the vision, particularly its focus on youth opportunities. He underscored the importance of initiatives like the Gabonese Bank for Trade and Entrepreneurship (BCEG), calling them vital tools for fostering private sector growth and economic independence. « I fully align with the President’s vision, » he stated, while urging swift action to turn promises into tangible benefits for all Gabonese.

While acknowledging the monumental challenges ahead, the PSD leader stressed that the reforms launched since August 30, 2023, lay a solid foundation for progress. He argued that only collective effort can overcome Gabon’s economic, social, and institutional hurdles. « A lucid opposition, » he described himself, reaffirming his readiness to collaborate on initiatives that serve the greater good.
« In this mission, he can count on me », he declared, pledging to contribute his expertise to national development. Despite political differences, he advocated for responsible cooperation to drive sustainable growth and meet the nation’s aspirations.
