On the 66th anniversary of Côte d’Ivoire’s independence, independent politician Méambly Tié Évariste addressed his fellow citizens with a message of gratitude and renewed commitment. His words resonated particularly in the regions of Cavally, Guémon, and Tonkpi.

“Serving the nation extends beyond political office,” he emphasized. “It continues wherever experience, knowledge, investment, and dedication can contribute to the development of Côte d’Ivoire and Africa.”

Reflecting on his journey, he recalled the trust placed in him during his decade as a National Deputy, his role as the first President of the Guémon Regional Council, and his leadership of the parliamentary group Agir pour le Peuple. These experiences, he noted, have shaped his unwavering dedication to public service.

Over the past seven years, he has pursued advanced academic studies, earning a Master’s in organizational management in Tunisia and a Master’s in public policy at Sciences Po Paris, specializing in African potential. He is now finalizing a PhD in management sciences, with his defense scheduled for October 2026.

Parallel to his studies, he has shared his insights through writing, publishing works on resilience and infrastructure financing. A third book, focusing on entrepreneurship and economic development, is set for release in October 2026.

After dedicating much of his life to the RHDP with loyalty and conviction, he now embarks on new professional horizons. Since 2012, he has expanded his business activities beyond Côte d’Ivoire, and since 2020, he has based his operations in France to foster international partnerships.

“With my doctorate on the horizon, I am now turning my full energy toward business development, job creation, financing of key projects, and promoting international partnerships for Africa’s benefit,” he stated.

His decision to pursue complete independence in his engagements comes after careful consideration. “This choice is not directed against anyone,” he clarified. “It simply marks a new chapter in my life, focused on entrepreneurship, knowledge sharing, investment, and development.”

He reaffirmed his ongoing support for initiatives promoting peace, national cohesion, education, innovation, and youth empowerment. “To my people of Cavally, Guémon, and Tonkpi, I say thank you,” he said. “Your trust will forever remain in my heart.”

On this Independence Day, he called for unity, hard work, solidarity, and brotherhood, urging all Ivorians to envision a brighter, more prosperous future.
