Announcement from the OHADA Club at Abdou Moumouni University of Niamey
The OHADA Club at Abdou Moumouni University of Niamey, in partnership with the International Committee of the OHADA Genius in Buds Competition (CIGHO), is proud to announce the National OHADA Law Excellence Competition 2026, set to take place in Niamey.
This prestigious competition invites students from public and private universities, as well as accounting schools, to showcase their expertise in OHADA law. Participants must be enrolled in either the third year of a bachelor’s degree or a master’s program.
Key eligibility criteria
- Law students (bachelor’s and master’s levels)
- Economics students (bachelor’s and master’s levels)
- Students from the Justice Section of the National School of Administration (bachelor’s and master’s levels)
Selection process and format
Written exams include:
- Multiple-choice questions (MCQ)
- Questions on African integration
- “Who am I?” (identification challenge)
- Relay questions
The oral phase features:
- Moot court presentation
Registration details
Teams of three participants must register, with at least one female member. The registration deadline is June 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
