Jordan strongly condemns foiled terror plots in Morocco

Jordan has strongly condemned the terror plots recently foiled in Morocco, reaffirming its unwavering solidarity with the Kingdom in safeguarding its security and stability.
In an official statement, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates highlighted the serious threat posed by these disrupted schemes aimed at destabilizing public order and jeopardizing lives and property across Morocco.
Ambassador Fouad Majali, the ministry’s spokesperson, emphasized Jordan’s full backing for Morocco’s efforts to protect its citizens and maintain national security, stressing that Amman stands firmly by Rabat’s side.
These remarks follow the announcement by Morocco’s Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations about the dismantling of highly dangerous terror plots at an advanced stage of preparation.
Based on precise intelligence from the General Directorate for National Security, simultaneous operations were carried out nationwide, leading to the arrest of radicalized individuals in multiple cities.
Initial investigations suggest these suspects were logistically coordinated and received operational support from the ISIS branch operating in the Sahel region.
