The diplomatic ties between Morocco and the Philippines, now spanning half a century, stand as a solid foundation for future collaboration, declares Philippines Ambassador to Rabat Leslie Baja. The milestone was marked last year, celebrating five decades of growing relations between the two nations.
Reflecting on the journey, Baja highlights a history woven with high-level exchanges, landmark agreements, and deep human connections. These pillars, he asserts, will serve as the cornerstone for the next fifty years of partnership and shared progress.
Economically, Baja points to a significant rise in bilateral trade over recent years. While the figures have surged by around 50%, both sides agree there remains substantial untapped potential to further strengthen economic exchanges.
