Morocco and UAE leaders hold strategic talks in Rabat
His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco welcomed His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Ben Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, for an official meeting in Rabat. The private visit underscores the deep ties between the two nations as they address pressing regional developments.
Following the meeting between King Mohammed VI and Sheikh Mohammed Ben Zayed Al Nahyan, the Royal Cabinet issued an official statement:
“As part of the private visit conducted by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Ben Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, to his second home, the Kingdom of Morocco, His Highness received His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God preserve them both, this Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at his residence in Rabat.
This meeting provided a valuable opportunity for the leaders of both nations to exchange perspectives on key international issues and challenges, particularly those affecting Gulf and Middle Eastern states.
The discussions reflected the enduring fraternal bonds between the two countries and their ruling families, as well as the strong strategic partnership, fruitful cooperation, and active solidarity that characterize Morocco-UAE relations under the wise leadership of both heads of state.”
