Traoré Amidou officially assumed the role of Director-General of Côte d’Ivoire Énergies (CI-ENERGIES) this past Friday, July 24, 2026, during a formal handover ceremony led by Yves Konan, Chairman of the Board.
He steps into the position following the nearly five-year tenure of his predecessor, Noumory Sidibé, whose leadership contributions were formally recognized by the board.
The ceremony highlighted Noumory Sidibé’s outstanding accomplishments in steering CI-ENERGIES, the state-owned corporation responsible for steering Côte d’Ivoire’s electricity sector forward.
