The Olympique Lyonnais (OL) has seen its plea to delay its inaugural Ligue 1 fixture against Toulouse rejected by the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP). The request was made to mitigate the club’s congested schedule in the event of Champions League playoff qualification, but the governing body stood firm.
