Tarik Hamane elected AMEPA president for four-year term

During this assembly, a new board of directors and an executive bureau were elected, comprising 27 and 12 members respectively, representing all sector stakeholders from both public and private spheres.

Simultaneously, the extraordinary general meeting focused on presenting and approving the association’s moral and financial reports. Members also adopted a resolution to amend AMEPA’s statutes, aiming to align its operations with the evolving water sector in Morocco and boost its efforts, particularly regarding industrial sovereignty.

Founded in 1997, AMEPA now federates over 95 active members, including public and private operators, regional multi-service companies (SRM), concessionaires, as well as industrial firms and engineering companies specialized in drinking water and sanitation.

Through this new governance, the association aims to structure a more integrated and united ecosystem, capable of elevating Moroccan industry, engineering, and expertise in the water field to a level of excellence, both nationally and continentally and internationally.
