Following a second consecutive Champions League triumph, PSG plans a busy summer transfer window. The Parisian club wants to strengthen Luis Enrique’s squad and has pursued several targets. One name on their radar is Ayyoub Bouaddi. The 18-year-old Lille midfielder is currently representing Morocco at the 2026 World Cup. However, his transfer to PSG faces a specific obstacle.

Manchester City has a plan for Ayyoub Bouaddi
Manchester City remains in conversations for Bouaddi. Contacts were established with the player’s entourage some time ago. The idea is to sign him now but for the summer of 2027, leaving him at Lille for one more season. This is not yet finalised, but Manchester City is working on this plan to secure the deal.
“PSG’s priority is to reinforce attack and defence”
Other clubs are also involved. Liverpool has held meetings, as has Arsenal. PSG continues to monitor the player, but they have not moved forward significantly on this case because their priority is strengthening the attack and defence. This is why Manchester City is trying to gain an advantage and sign him for the summer of 2027. If PSG does not advance further, Ayyoub Bouaddi will have plenty of options for his future. The situation remains to be followed.
