Benin Niger experts to reopen border in 15 days

Bénin and Niger have taken a decisive step toward strengthening ties by establishing a joint expert committee tasked with assessing the conditions for reopening their shared border within the next two weeks. The announcement follows a landmark visit by Bénin’s President Romuald Wadagni to Niamey, where he engaged in high-level discussions with his Nigerien counterpart, Abdourahamane Tiani.
