The Kingdom of Morocco has firmly integrated humanitarian action into its foreign policy and African cooperation framework, guided by the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, as emphasized by Ambassador Mohamed Arrouchi, Permanent Representative to the African Union (AU) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA).
During a public session of the AU Peace and Security Council (PSC) dedicated to refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and humanitarian aid in Africa, Mr. Arrouchi underscored Morocco’s unwavering commitment to addressing humanitarian crises across the continent. As the AU Champion on migration, the Kingdom has made humanitarian assistance a cornerstone of its diplomatic engagements and cooperation efforts, leaving no stone unturned in alleviating suffering wherever it arises in Africa.
