Spiritual leaders meet before Senegal’s grand magal celebration

The holy city of Touba buzzed with anticipation as Senegal prepared to celebrate the Grand Magal on August 2, 2026. Just days before the spiritual gathering, Ousmane Sonko, President of the National Assembly, paid a courtesy visit to Serigne Mountakha Mbacké, the General Khalif of the Mouride Brotherhood.
